baby girl continues to exhibit signs that she's inherited my ocd tendencies.
last night we started with a girl, a banana, and a polka dot chair.
swap again
and again
and again. and then she returned, banana in hand, to that little polka dot chair.
baby girl also figured out that her nativity set little people can fit in her little people pink car. she was thrilled. and now she loves for the wiseman to drive the shepherd all around the
and then just this afternoon i was cleaning up lunch and baby got out this purple colander hat.
she had a merry old time for about 2.5 minutes...
and then i found it had been promptly returned to the exact location from whence it came.
and because i feel like it, i'll share another cleaning story that happened last night. after work, honey came home for about 5 minutes to grab some dinner and change clothes before his friend came by to pick him up to play some racquetball. since he was getting a ride with a friend, he left out the front door... which we really only use for guests that come by our house. when he came back, he returned home through the front door and left his shoes (we don't wear shoes in the house... our carpets are in bad enough shape already), hoodie, and phone in a pile right there. then he walked in the great room and sat down in the red recliner. baby was stressing out. over and over again she pointed to the pile and told honey over and over some gibberish about it. and then she told me. she was pretty distraught. so then she took matters into her own hands. first, she got honey's phone, the next trip, his hoodie, and then his shoes. and as much as i tried to get her to give them to her daddy, she insisted that they were for me. i guess she sees me do all the cleaning. so then i gave the shoes back to her and, holding the hoodie, had her follow me to the master closet where we put the shoes and hoodie in their correct places.
and then all was right with the world.
Hahaha! What a cute little kid! Although I must say -- you've got to watch out that she doesn't turn her life upside down with OCD. I did that as a middle-schooler, and that was not good . . .
ReplyDeleteWow! Send her over our way so she can teach hunter a thing or two about picking up. I constantly have pots and pans spewn all over my kitchen floors from the little man.
