happy mothers day 2012!

here are a few snipits from the day

from the nursery lesson.  although i asked baby girl about it at home... blank stare.  this kid doesn't apologize.
gives me butterflies.  check out the tiny little hand print!
i told my honey a few gift giving days ago that i wish he would always give me books because i love them so much.  and he doesn't disappoint.  awesome books for valentines, awesome book for our anniversary, and awesome book for mothers day.
today was a good day.  no one told honey that bishopric meeting was cancelled so he woke up at 5 15 for that but then crawled back in bed with me at 7:40.  my alarm went off at 7:50 and 7:55 before i finally just turned it off.  we kept snuggling until 8:30... church starts at 9.  so, he was in charge of getting baby ready and bringing me breakfast (he had plans for a whole breakfast in bed with the eggs he makes that i love but i was kinda just feeling cherrios instead) and i got myself dressed and presentable.  it was cold outside!  it worked well though because we got to wear cozy clothes and nothings better than wearing my warm brown boots to church.  baby was on good behavior during sacrament meeting and honey and i actually got to sit together during sunday school!  young womens was great and we took the laurels into relief society for an awesome lesson on prayer.  came home and ate tacos, fed baby, and i hung out in bed while honey went to a church meeting thing with his parents and the becks.  when he got home he jumped in bed but baby had heard the garage and was yelling DADDY!!!! forever so he went ahead and got her out of bed.  it was a short nap for her.  she pooped so go figure.  i drizzled chocolate deliciousness on the bundt cake i made last night and we all headed out the door for the hilliers.  we ate a wonderful roast dinner, hung out, opened mothers day/ birthday presents and called honey's brother mark, who is currently serving a mission in mexico.  and then we ate the chocolate cake i made.  i felt like such a success.  getting home, i put baby to bed while honey took out the trash, watered the lawn, and cleaned the kitchen.  then we met in bed and snuggled some more.  as i said, it was a good day.
