country to city

today feels like it didn't even happen.  all we did was go from the farm to atlanta.  but it took alllll day long.

we took a detour to pick blackberries and they had chickens and pigs and goats and bird things (what are those gray ones, anyways?!)

thankfully both kids slept on the way home.  baby girl for probably an hour and a half and brady took a few shorter naps.  they were both so well behaved in the car which was a pleasant surprise since baby girl spent the first fifteen minutes crying and fussing.  she had a rough morning.  girl needs her sleep.

photo fail.  and gps fail for that matter.  i'm back at navigating and i took us on a detour through atlanta.  we passed all the big sights like the church i used to volunteer at every sunday morning.
and the fox.  we also passed the varsity, world of coke, the aquarium, and about a third of the population of atlanta that was out running, getting in some last minute peachtree training.  it was fun driving down peachtree since thursday morning we'll be running on it instead.
he's got a knack for pulling the blanket over his head.
all she's ever wanted in life is friends.  and now she's finally getting one she can play with.  i love just walking in the room and seeing that she's made up a game that is amusing for both of them.
makes me laugh.  and i love that he always seems just as delighted as she is!
i logged many many hours on this at this age.  we need a side by side comparison picture.
the prettiest trash ever.
and the happiest
baby girl is always so interested in playing that she finds eating is annoying because it just gets in the way.  i gave her the option to eat at the table or eat in a high chair.  i guess she thought the high chair sounded like a fun way to switch things up.
gorgeous, heavenly ice cream
not pictured: late night target run with sarah.  she made the mistake of texting me that she was going and then i made her pick me up and take me with her.  i think sarah learned a lesson tonight.
