An hour or two after she went to bed, baby girl woke up coughing so hard she gagged and spit up in her crib. Honey picked her up and walked her back in her room and she'd already fallen asleep. My poor babes. I hope they feel better soon.

Two sick kids
Thankfully, today was much better than yesterday. I set my alarm this morning and was able to actually shower and get dressed and eat all by myself! Then I helped Abigail get up and dressed and she went downstairs to eat her oatmeal while I got Brady up and fed. We were out the door by a record braking 10:15! We spent a few hours at the park with friends from the ward and then hit up the library on our way home. We still have 99 things checked out. We returned five today so I knew we could get five more. So insanely difficult to only get five things. I am not good at making decisions and I'm sure the librarian ladies were wondering why I was deliberating children's books as if my life depended on it. Brady has been sick and congested since the weekend. Baby girl just woke up this morning and seemed fine except that she coughed a time or two and it sounded deep. She did great today but Brady just wanted to be held (or in his carseat...boy loves his carseat) or entertained in some way. Despite all of this, my dreams came true and I was able to keep my house clean, make dinner for the first time in who knows how long, and get a few other things done. My prayers were answered. Quite literally.

Winter
Abigail woke up this morning and saw the snow out her window. Then immediately started the incessant requests to go out and play in the winter.
And winter it was. When did fall happen?! Wednesday I think? Monday and Tuesday mornings I got sunburned as I sweated it out at the park. Thursday it was a little bit chillier and today it snowed. So I'm pretty sure fall was on Wednesday.
She was already wearing fleece pjs so I just had her put on a pair of old jeans, a too small puffy coat, snow boots, hat, and mittens. Then it was go time.
She was so excited to go play out in the winter. And she did on multiple occasions. Until about 1 I clock when it was pretty much all melted. By two, it was bright and sunny and no trace that it had snowed.
Brady woke up at 6:45 this morning. Which for me is equivalent to the middle of the night. So I fed him and put him back to bed. And he slept til after 11. It made for a really easy morning cleaning my kitchen and watching Abigail play in the back yard.
Abigail heard Brady wake up and took a page from my book "I'll go check on Brady while you stay here. okay?" So when I went up later, he was happily sitting in his crib while she read him stories. SITTING. because apparently he can now go from laying down to sitting. I didn't see it til an hour later when I was on the phone with Liza (thanks for celebrating with me!) and when I excitedly told my honey about it today after work he told me that was old news and that Brady was doing that over and over the other night. My husband. A man of very very few words. Still, I think this is awesome.
One of honey's coworkers got this hat for Brady. It's a hat and scarf and mittens (the ends of the scarf tails have pockets for your hands) and dragon head all in one crazy contraption. We got a kick out of this and then Abigail tried to eat Brady.
And then Liza called and apparently I took zero more pictures the rest of the day. I did do a few loads of laundry and I made a batch of laundry detergent and cleaned my kitchen some. So we'll say my day was productive.
Tonight I went to young women volleyball and came home to watch the end of the avs game. They've won both of their games so far. And byu won tonight too.
Who's pumped for conference?! Today was such a wonderfully cozy day and I'm so excited to wear pjs and snuggle under some warm blankets to watch conference tomorrow. Hot chocolate anyone?! I can't wait!

Pjs
Abigail has a whole ton of really cute pjs. Yet sometimes she wakes up looking like this. That's when you know it's going to be a really great day.

Three notables and Sunday commentary
In no particular order... Three significant things that happened today.
Just kidding, we'll do chronological order.
1. Brady smeared poop all over our carpet, his bedroom door, his Sunday clothes, and his face. Sorry Brady, it was your dad's fault. I gave him a pretty stern talking to though and hopefully it will never happen again.
2. Chris got set apart as elders quorum president. (He was released last week from his ward clerk calling)
3. Christopher and I each picked our teams in our fantasy hockey draft tonight. Normally I try to pick my players based off of their names and how attractive their head shots are. This year my honey convinced me to pick some pretty ugly players. They really better perform. P.A. Parenteau, I'm lookin' at you.
Awesome parts of today?
No Sunday meetings this morning for my honey or myself! No bishopric meeting for honey because he was released last Sunday as ward clerk and no meeting for myself because of 5th Sunday!
Also, church was great. Our lesson third hour was soooo good. I only wish I didn't have to miss the first part because it coincided with Christopher's setting apart. Still, so memorable about the tomb of the unknown soldier and guarding our virtue.
Brady fell asleep in his carseat at church at 1... Just 20 minutes before the end of church. Happily, he stayed asleep til 3:45, even though he hadn't eaten since 10, allowing me to get a much desired nap.
The team effort for my nap continues with Christopher putting Abigail down for nap and keeping himself awake so even when Brady woke up and I fed him, I could give him to my honey and go back to bed for a while to wake up in peace.
We all went on a nice long walk around the neighborhood and checked out the progress on our new church building. If so perfectly hit the spot.
I pretty much just had a super fun time hanging out with my honey today. And Brady was excellent too, especially considering what a hard time we've been having with teething! And Abigail was pretty funny too. My favorite was when Chris finished his food before and he threw his hands up and said "won!" And without missing a beat, Abigail threw her hands up and said "two!" We all loved that "won."
