more thomas

thank goodness for the library!  baby girl loves to read.  we read at least an hour a day, but most often more than that.  and since she's two, she's going through a lot of self discovery (i think this lasts until age 25 or something) and can develop new favorites overnight.  so while i appreciated the library before, i'm really loving that i can get tons of new books for baby girl, all about her current favorite.  like the one time that i had 15 elmo and abby dvd's checked out at one time.  or when she was in her fancy nancy stage (she still likes fancy nancy, it's just been surpassed by thomas) and i could just go online and put a hold on every single fancy nancy book my library had to offer.  so after way too long of reading the same three thomas books over and over and over again, we went to the library on monday and picked up ten more.  well, maybe not ten, but probably at least 8 or 9.  it's been amazing having some variation in our stories and since baby girl now sleeps with those original three thomas books in her crib for naps and nighttime, it's nice to be able to keep those there and still have plenty of thomas books for the rest of the house too!
