Guest room
We got furniture forever ago but I don't know that I ever posted pictures of our guest room. I call it my Jane Austen room because of the view. I love it.
Ps- the nightstand is on the far side of the bed. What sort of lamp would you put there?

a very hillier christmas
i'm sure i've whined about it before but every year the hilliers go on a christmas trip, normally someplace tropical. those are my favorite destinations and since i enjoy their company so much, i really look forward to these trips. so i was more than a little disappointed that we'd be missing the christmas trip this year. don't get me wrong, i'd rather have a baby than a tropical vacation. really, any day. but it would have been kinda nice maybe to have a baby a few months ago and then we could have just taken brady with us... anyways, i think the initial plan was costa rica but then it got changed to some sort of carribean cruise. this made my heart happy because it gave me hope that maybe costa rica is just postponed and now i'm not missing it... since i've wanted to go there since high school.
anyways, that whining was purely for recreation because it has nothing to do with this post other than to say "my in laws went on a christmas cruise four days after i had a baby so we celebrated with them the day before they left."

ps- the whole "two christmases" thing is awesome. it really hit the spot this year.
