and when we got home we checked the mail and were blessed with this beauty of a package from sarah! thank you thank you thank you! i'm so excited for baby boy to wear his pink tie and bow tie! soooo cute!
santa had given baby a little tiny bouncy ball and santa toy. when i told her it was time for lunch she brought her santa toy over with her and said "i want my guy to watch you!" she does like to have a toy audience while she eats...
and while there is no question about it that my baby has a calm and mellow personality, her physical attributes do not reflect that. she never stops moving. has been that way since she was actually a baby and it hasn't let up... she's busy! it can get frustrating when we're just walking into the garage to get in the car and before i've even placed my purse on the front seat, she's riding her bike around the garage (what part of "let's go get in your carseat!" is so difficult?! as if i don't have enough add to go around!) so when i've started getting better about giving her little assignments. when we were in her room getting ready for nap, i needed to get her some pj's and socks out of her closet so to keep her occupied, i asked her to take off her diaper. imagine my delight when we met up a minute later with pj's and socks in my hands, and a nicely wrapped diaper in baby girl's hands!
it was precious! and honestly, she did a really good job!
