two weeks ago our relief society had a valentines activity called conversation hearts. it was basically speed dating, friendship style. christopher had something going on so i brought baby girl to the activity with me. i think at least ten or twelve people asked me what was wrong with my baby's face.
obviously nothing to worry about.
post edit: i should add that although i use the term "cheek slap," this is most definitely not slap cheek, commonly known as fifth disease. it just showed up out of the blue one afternoon. i noticed it when i took baby girl out of her sling and thought her face was just red and hot from being pressed against my chest. but then it stayed that way until she went to bed six hours later. when she woke up the next morning it was completely gone and hasn't come back since.

poor baby girl!
I love your little girl's facial expressions!
oh dear! it really does look like she got slapped. will it just go away?
word verification: helyza - another variation of heck yes?
My boys used to get that all the time! Something about the combination of drool and half your face sleeping in it. You may know this already, but Aquaphor (sp?) will do wonders for her "baby slap" :)
