That's what I forgot

This morning as I was leaving for church, I kept having the feeling I was forgetting something. I even mentioned it to Chris as we were pulling out of the driveway. I kept feeling like maybe I'd volunteered to teach primary again or something but just couldn't put my finger on it. Then I started doing my makeup and forgot all about it. Until third hour at church in relief society. I look up for the opening hymn and see my friend cristy making a face and a quiet joke about how she'll try not to screw up the music too bad. Then an idea hit me. I got out my phone and checked my texts but nothing was coming up in my search. Then I searched my email inbox and found this from a few days ago.

Whoops. So then I passed my phone to my friend Jen seated in front of me and we both started laughing. After the song, cristy turned around to both of us and said "I saw you two laughing at me because I don't know how to lead music!"  Ohhh I wish that was why I was laughing. Whoops. When time for the closing hymn came, cristy turned around and pointed to me with an attitude and gave me her best "YOU'RE doing this one!"  Ha. Poor, sweet cristy.

On my way to ward choir practice I got stuck behind this thing. I didn't even notice or care what it was for the longest time. Then I realized it was a fully assembled trampoline on the back of a trailer pulled by a truck. Who does that?!

When I was pulling out of my driveway to go to choir practice, a neighbor across the street was headed my way with a diaper box. We are friends with these neighbors but almost never talk to them. We call them our New Yorker neighbors because they're your classic New Yorker family from a sitcom. She said her kids had outgrown some diapers. Yes, I'll take those for you!  And my doors are open to anything else you want to give me!  The plastic things in the playroom that hold all our toys came from these neighbors too. Although I saw them on the curb on already day and actually asked if I could take them. I've gotten free furniture and other stuff from five neighbors on my street. We are probably going to get a reputation soon.

We should also get a reputation about how much we recycle. The little white bin on the left is our trash. He four big things on the right are recycling. Why my honey hates it, I'll never know. I'm obsessed.

Also, as I was leaving relief society today, I saw the other emails from my morning. Including this one at 8:30am (I really should check my email before church in the morning) that would have been helpful to know about.

Should I tell patty she's most welcome but that she actually only owes me 50% of big?  I swear I have good intentions. It's just this little thing called adult ADD. Or being blonde.
