atlanta so far

monday we ran some errands at the mall.

mom was looking at some of those super super soft socks (tell me you know what i'm talking about because if you don't, you're missing out) and i looked over to see baby girl holding this mannequin's hand.  it was hilarious.  she did it a couple of times but stopped when i finally got out my camera.  so i only have her holding her leg.  or pushing her leg.  she almost knocked it over.  it's funny because she pushes my leg just like that when she's trying to get me to go somewhere.  i guess she didn't want to look at socks anymore.

turns out she was just a little tired and jet lagged still.

we went to liza's house!

what a fun reunion!

what a diva.  apparently i was just the same.  and i still love the camera just as much.  i'm just always on the other side...

playing necklace's with cousin will

and baby girl's favorite thing to play with at my parents' house (aside from a basket of potpourri) is this little wooden step stool.

she just carries it from room to room

and only twice has she tried to sit or climb on it.

this baby is also a hit.  because i think it's adorable and i'm constantly telling her to play with it.

"get your baby!"  so she picks it up

"can you feed the baby the bottle?" and then she drinks it herself.

save yourself, then others.  because eventually she feeds the doll.

but always goes back to herself
and here's eighty million pictures of baby eating a popsicle after dinner tonight.  i haven't lost all of my food nazi-ness... it's just mashed up fruit mixed with homemade yogurt... frozen.  my mother is so smart to make those for her grandkids.  tonight they all picked popsicles over chocolate chip cookies.  little do they know, they're a few oats short of being a complete breakfast.

she got the whole licking concept down and ate the entire thing!

and then temporarily turned it into a moisturizing hand scrub.

she is soooo messy these days wanting to do everything herself.  i am really being thrown out of my comfort zone.

DIANA!!!  her mom dropped her by at 3 30... and then we hung out for the next 6 hours.  ps- i took a wrong turn on the way home from her house.  i'm losing my touch navigating this city.  just kidding... it was lost long ago.

"all done!"  she says that now... while simultaneously signing it.  it's precious.

typical dad  ; )

in pictures... that's what we've done so far.
