an out the door snack

as mentioned before, i can't get enough chocolate these days.  and while i prefer chocolate of all varieties, i've found frozen chocolate chips to be especially convenient and satisfying (in that way that makes you ravenous for more).  so frequently, before we head out the door, i open the freezer to grab a handful of chocolate chips from the giant costco sized bag in our freezer.  baby girl somehow hasn't caught on to what i'm doing (even though i am in no way sneaky about this) and hears the rustle of the plastic bag and runs to me/the freezer yelling "I WANT NUTS!  I WANT NUTS!" and then grabs the little bag of pecans we keep placed on the bottom shelf just for her and then happily runs to the door to go outside.

all while i stuff my face with my giant handful of chocolate chips.  i know someday she'll catch on to this, but in the mean time.  it's pretty awesome that she gets so excited about pecans every time i open the freezer drawer.  granny and papa would be so proud.

ps- baby girl is wearing her beloved dora sandals.  for having watched dora pretty much never, this kid sure loves her dora lops.  she has very strong fashion preferences.
